This past summer, we hosted- which we are hoping will be an annual thing- a First Nation's Youth Emergency Services Summer Camp. The camp utilized our partnerships with the National Indigenous Fire Safety Council, Emergency Management Ontario, Canadian Coast Guard, Barrie Fire & Emergency Services, and Georgian Central Communications Centre with the purpose of generating interest amongst our youth to explore careers in Emergency Services and Emergency Management.
