Currently serving in Fire and Emergency Management and have for over the past 27 years. Obtained the rank of Deputy Fire Chief, also serving as CEMC/Alternate in a Municipal NorthernRural Fire Department. Certified to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Fire Officer IV, the highest level. Worked extensively with many First Nations, Unincorporated Communities and Municipalities.

Have attended multiple incidents utilizing the Incident Command System and attended mass evacuations utilizing the Incident Management System. Coordinated many parts beyond and established key foundations of changing some of the Emergency Management Profiles.
